Ingredients
10 Paneer cubes (cottage cheese)
1 1/2 tbsp Mustard Oil/any other oil
1 Onion, cubed
1 Tomato, cubed
1 Capsicum, cubed
5-7 tbsp Thick curd/hung curd
1-2 tbsp Coriander powder
2 tsp Garam Masala
1-2 tbsp Besan / Gram flour
1/2-1 tsp Chaat Masala
1-2 tsp Kitchen king masala (optional)
1-2 tsp Red chilli powder
1-2 tsp Turmeric powder
As per taste Salt
1-2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1-2 tsp Cumin powder
1-3 tsp Lemon juice
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
For marination - in a bowl, add thick yoghurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Besan, garam masala, coriander powder, chaat masala.
Step 2
Now add ginger garlic paste, oil, salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
Step 3
Cut Paneer, onions, capsicum and tomatoes in cubes. Add the cubed veggies and paneer into marinade, gently coat them well. After mixing, cover and rest this in refrigerator at least for 1-2 hours.
Step 4
After 1-2 hours, heat a pan, spread 1-2 tbsp of oil on pan. Add marinated paneer cubes and veggies. Toss them well. When they turn golden in colour, immediately transfer them into bowl or serving plate, otherwise paneer will get little hard. (Procedure for Non-stick Pan)
Step 5
Procedure for Griller Pan - first of all begin to arrange veggies and paneer cubes alternatively on the skewers. Arrange all skewers similarly. Now Heat a griller pan, spread 1-2 tbsp oil on pan. Place the skewers on pan, when they turn golden, Transfer them in a bowl or serving plate.
Step 6
And it's ready, sprinkle some chaat Masala and Serve with mint chutney.
