Onion Tomato Curry: A Classic Indian Vegetable Recipe



Ingredients

  1. 1 Onion chopped

  2. 1 Tomato chopped

  3. 1 tsp chopped garlic

  4. 1-2 tsp Garlic Ginger paste

  5. To taste Salt

  6. 1 tsp Ghee

  7. As needed Water

  8. 1/2 tsp MDH Kitchen king powder

  9. 1 tsp Red chilli powder

  10. 1/2 tsp chopped Green chillies

  11. 1 tbsp Oil

  12. 1/2 tsp Garam masala

  13. 1 tbsp Coriander powder

  14. 1/2 tsp Asafoetida

  15. 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  16. 1/2-1 tsp malai/cream

  17. 1 bay leaf

  18. 1/2 tsp sugar

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Heat oil in pan or kadhai. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida. Then add Chopped onions. Sauté them for few seconds. Then add chopped green chillies and bay leaves.


Step 2

Add chopped garlic, tomatoes, Ginger-garlic paste, salt and stir. Then add coriander powder, garam masala, kitchen king, red chilli powder and mix well.


Step 3

Add some water and mix. Cover it with lid for a minute or two (on low flame).


Step 4

After then add 1 tsp of malai or ghee and mix. Cover it with lid for a minute and turn off the flame.


Step 5

Yummy Onion Tomato Curry is ready. :)
