Mushroom Cheese Burger: A Vegetarian Twist on a Classic Burger



Ingredients

2 servings

  1. 2 burger buns

  2. 1/2 cup sliced onion

  3. Sliced tomatoes

  4. 3-4 tbsp Olives

  5. 4-5 tsp Sweet corns

  6. 4-6 Garlic cloves, minced

  7. 1 cup Mushrooms, diced or chopped

  8. 5-8 broccoli florets (small size)

  9. Salt

  10. Black pepper powder

  11. Mixed herbs

  12. Cheese slices (as per your taste)

  13. 3 tbsp Pizza/pasta sauce

  14. 2 tbsp Sandwich spread

  15. Fresh Lemon juice

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Marinate some sliced onions, with 1 tsp of lemon juice, pinch of salt and red chilli powder. Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp of oil in pan on medium low flame. Add burger buns; cook until crisp and lightly browned (each side).


Step 2

Heat 1 or 1 1/2 tsp of oil in pan. Add add chopped onions, garlic, mushrooms, broccoli florets. Sauté them for few seconds.


Step 3

Add salt, pepper, 1 1/2 tbsp of pizza/pasta sauce.


Step 4

Add 2-3 tbsp of water. Mix well & Cover the lid. And turn off the flame.


Step 5

At one side of bun, spread some sauce then add marinated onions, sautéed veggies, olives.


Step 6

Sprinkle mixed herbs, add sliced Tomatoes, cheese slice. Cover it with another bun.


Step 7

Heat 1/2 or 1 tsp of oil in pan (medium low flame). Then add the filled burger. Let it heat for few seconds. Cover the pan with lid and turn off the flame.


Step 8

Your Delicious mushroom and Cheese burger is ready.
