Ingredients
3-5 servings
1 Cup Maida / All-purpose flour
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp Sugar/ Powdered Sugar
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt or less
1/4 cup Curd
2 1/2 tbsp Melted unsalted butter
for Filling--
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/4 tsp hot chocolate powder (optional)
1/4 tsp Cocoa Powder(little less)
As required Choco Chips
for Decorating--
as required Chocolate Syrup
as required Powdered sugar
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Take one mixing bowl, add maida and sieve it at least for 2 times. Then add baking powder, sugar, baking soda, salt, curd and mix well. Knead a soft dough.
Step 2
Rest the dough covered for 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile make a filling. In a separate bowl, add Brown Sugar, cinnamon powder, hot chocolate powder, Cocoa Powder and unsalted butter. Make a nice paste.
Step 4
In Kadhai add 2 cups of salt, then place a stand and cake tin. Grease the cake tin. Preheat the Kadhai on medium flame for 10-12 mins.
Step 5
Now spread some flour, place the dough on floured surface, knead the dough bit again. Then roll it thin to 1/2 cm thickness. Make it a rectangular shape. Now spread the filling evenly, sprinkle choco chips also and spread a little butter on edges.
Step 6
You can Use a "Book fold technique" or "spiral shape". Divide it into 6 parts. Cut in between, make it in a braid shape & twist. (As shown in images). All the shapes are ready, Transfer these into muffins moulds/cake tin/ greased plate. Place these into preheated Kadhai, cover it with lid and cook them on medium flame for at least 15-20 mins.
Step 7
Keep on checking in between. Once It will become slightly goldenish or light brown in color, brush them with butter.
Step 8
Transfer them to serving plate. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on cinnamon rolls. Decorate them with chocolate syrup too. And it's ready to eat đ Enjoyyy âď¸
