Sewaiyan Kheer: A Classic Indian Dessert Made with Vermicelli



Ingredients

30-40 mins 3 servings

  1. 1 cup Vermicelli/Sewai

  2. 2 1/2 cup full fat Milk

  3. 1-2 tbsp Ghee

  4. 1/2 cup Sugar

  5. Few strands Saffron

  6. 1 tsp Cardamom powder

  7. As per your choice Dry fruits

  8. 6-8 Almonds

  9. 7-8 Cashews

  10. 5-8 Pistachios

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Heat ghee in pan on medium-low flame.


Step 2

Then add vermicelli, roast it till they turn golden brown in color. (On Low flame)


Step 3

Then add milk. Let it boil. Keep on stirring in between.


Step 4

Cook and stir till it becomes little bit thick. Add sugar and mix.


Step 5

Then add cardamom powder, dry fruits and saffron. Mix well.


Step 6

And it's ready. Garnish with pistachios, saffron and almonds.
