Alsi ki Panjiri / Flaxseeds Panjiri: A Nutritious and Delicious Indian Snack


  1. 500 gms Alsi

  2. 1 1/2 cup Desi ghee

  3. 500 gms Wheat flour

  4. 750 gms Jaggery or sugar

  5. 100 gms Cashews

  6. 100 gms Almonds

  7. 1 tbsp Pistachios/Pista

  8. 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder

  9. 3-4 Walnuts

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Slightly roast the flax seeds in a dry pan and roast wheat flour in a ghee separately, until it turns golden brown and leaves the fragrance.

Step 2

Grind the flax seeds in mixer. Roughly chop the almonds, walnuts, cashew nuts.

Step 3

Now put roasted flour, roasted Alsi powder, roasted nuts in the pan. Add the crushed sugar/jaggery powder and Mix it well.

Step 4

Garnish this with some grated Cashew and Almonds.
